Vladimir Kuskovski has led international schools in the United States, Switzerland, India, and Germany. Early life
Vladimir Kuskovski grew up in Mogilev, Belarus, where he developed a love for outdoor activities and water sports. He was a member of the USSR Olympic rowing team in 1984. His mother was a professor of English who taught him to read in English at age seven, fostering bilingual literacy in English and Russian. He spent summers traveling along the Dnieper River with his parents and visiting family in Ukraine, where his mother's family was from. Belarusian is his mother tongue, though Russian was his stronger language growing up, and he also speaks Ukrainian.
